My infatuation with quilting began at a young age recreationally putting together squares. As I grew so did my dedication and involvement in the quilting community. Over the years I have had the opportunity to be part of many groups and learn from some wonderful teachers. When I met Maureen Forester my life and quilting goals were changed forever. It is thanks to her mentoring and support that I became a teacher and went on to teach at several fabric shops.
Throughout my career as a quilter I always dreamed of opening my own shop and sharing my passion and love of quilting with the rest of the community. In April 2011, my dream has come true with me opening my own store – Nina’s Quilt Barn. The vision behind the store was to incorporate my love of country decor including roosters, warm colors, and just an overall feeling of welcomeness and to provide quilters with a home away from home offering all varieties of fabric, machines, supplies, notions, and patterns that reflect all types and tastes. We also will be holding many classes perfect for all different skill levels.
I am very much excited about all of this and I very much am looking forward to sharing this excitement with you!
